The Forge is our newest luxury cottage—perfect as a honeymoon retreat or a peaceful getaway for solo travellers.

Need something larger? Check out Oak Cottage​ or Lighthouse Cottage, both sleeps 4 or Church Fields Cottage sleeps 5+1.

On arrival, you’ll find plenty of parking adjacent to the path leading to your luxury retreat. Open the composite gate to step into your secure, private garden.

A 4-seater leather sofa, large Smart TV with DAB radio, DVD player, and Freeview. The unit is stocked with DVDs, books, and games. And yes—a lovely log burner for cosy evenings.

Modern panelled bathroom with a rain-style shower (excellent mains pressure), toilet, basin with storage, shaving mirror, radiator—and bathrobes included.

A beautiful table and chairs perfect for romantic meals for two, with views of the fire and the TV in the living room.

Garden/Entrance

A secluded patio area with artificial grass, surrounded by a 6-ft wall (4 ft solid wall with 2 ft composite panels on top). Gas BBQ available April–October.

More Info

  • Heating: Gas central heating with thermostat and radiator valves in bedrooms, plus a feature wood-burning stove in the living room.

  • Local essentials: Shop 2.5 miles • Pub 1.5 miles • Beach 2.7 miles

  • Mobile signal: O₂ and Vodafone usually best; Wi-Fi is included.

  • EV Charging: Two 7kW chargers onsite via Monta app (small fee applies)

  • Smoking: Not permitted inside the cottage including the use of candles.

  • Dog beds: Dogs may sleep in your bed—please bring your own linen or request our dog loved bedding.

  • Guest access: Exclusive use of the cottage and garden, plus shared access to our large fenced field.

  • Host interaction: We're based at Church Farm. We generally keep to ourselves, but you’re absolutely welcome to say hello, or ask us to pop in for a chat, we would love to meet you.

Guest Convenience

  • Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Asda, and Waitrose all deliver to the cottage—just ask for your delivery after arriving.

  • Having parcels delivered? No problem! Let us know beforehand, and we’ll arrange to have them waiting in your cottage—or collect them at the farmhouse when you’re ready.
